Pass It On was started by long-time school friends Emma Levy and Johanna Knox, after a Facebook conversation about Johanna's recently deceased aunt started turning into an heirloom recipe swap.
We realised we were all bursting to talk about the culinary legacies left by loved ones - and it suddenly seemed like an exciting idea to make a blog where inherited recipes could be passed on and special people remembered through those recipes. It's a tribute page with a difference.
This is a trans-Tasman effort: Emma is a psychologist in Australia, while Johanna works as a writer and researcher in New Zealand. Your recipe tributes are welcome from everywhere!
